Abstract
The Quitovac area is located in northwestern Sonora, where rocks that crop out have been assigned to the Proterozoic, Jurassic, and Tertiary by simple correlation with other areas. The Proterozoic gneiss and schist and the Jurassic volcanic rocks represent two petrologic assemblage, each one separated by a north-striking thrust fault, the Quitovac fault, probably a result of transpression along the Mojave-Sonora megashear… Para continuar descargue el artículo completo en PDF.
