Crustáceo (Malacostrata-Decapoda) del Cretácico Inferior del Estado de Guerrero

Abstract

Astacodes sp. cf. A. maxwelli Stenzel, a decapod crustacean similar to the living lobster, is described from the San Lucas Formation (Hauterivian-Aptian) of north-central Guerrero.

A brief review is included on the scarce fossil crustacean publications of Mexico, exclusive of the ostracods.
